Eli Refurbishments

Flooring fitters in London and Essex

We fit laminate, LVT, engineered and solid wood floors in homes across London and Essex. If there's an old floor in the way, we take it up first. Flooring can be a job on its own or part of a bigger refurbishment. Eli comes to see the rooms for free and gives you a written, fixed-price quote before we start.

Long corridor with restored parquet and original timber floorboards

Floors we fit

  • Laminate: a hard-wearing option for most rooms.
  • LVT: luxury vinyl tiles, which cope well with water, so they suit kitchens and bathrooms.
  • Engineered wood: a real wood top layer on a stable core.
  • Solid wood: boards made from one piece of timber all the way through.
  • Taking up old floors: carpet, laminate, vinyl or tiles removed before the new floor goes down.

Skirting and doors

Once the new floor is down, our own team refits the skirting and trims doors where needed, so they open and close over the new floor.

How a flooring job runs

  1. Tell us about the rooms — use the quote form, call or send a WhatsApp, with photos if you have them.

  2. Free site visit — Eli measures up and talks through the type of floor you want.

  3. Written, fixed-price quote — what's included and the price, with the 12-month workmanship guarantee written in.

  4. The work — old flooring taken up, the new floor fitted, then skirting and doors finished.

  5. Handover — Eli goes through the finished floors with you.

Flooring questions

Can you take up my old floor first?

Yes. We remove carpet, laminate, vinyl or tiles before fitting the new floor.

Which floor is best for a kitchen or bathroom?

LVT usually copes best with water. Eli can talk you through the options at the site visit.

Will my doors still close over the new floor?

Yes. Our own team trims doors where needed once the floor is down.

Is the work guaranteed?

Yes. Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months, and the guarantee is written into your quote.

Do you charge for the site visit?

No, the visit is free.
