Who we are

Eli Refurbishments is a trading name of Elbasan Gjoka, a sole trader based at Flat 5, Blade Court, 29 Oldchurch Road, Romford RM7 0BG. We're responsible for the personal information described in this notice. If you have any questions, email info@elirefurbishments.co.uk or call 07867 358099.

What we collect

When you use our quote form: your name, phone number, email address, the postcode of the property, the type of work and the job details you write.
When you call, WhatsApp or email us: your phone number or email address and anything you send us, including photos.
If you become a customer: the address of the property, your quote, invoices and payment records.
When you visit the website: our hosting providers may keep standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited, to keep the site secure.

Cookies

This website doesn't use cookies for analytics or advertising. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't collect personal information. If that changes, we'll update this notice and ask for your consent first.

How we use your information

To reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit and prepare your quote. We do this because you've asked us to, before any contract.
To carry out and manage the work if you go ahead. This is needed for our contract with you.
To keep accounts and tax records. This is a legal requirement.
To keep the website secure. This is in our legitimate interests.

We don't sell your information, and we won't send you marketing messages.

Who we share it with

Web3Forms, which delivers messages from our quote form to our inbox. It keeps a copy of form submissions for up to 30 days.
Hostinger, which hosts our email.
WhatsApp (Meta), if you message us there.
Lovable and Cloudflare, which host and deliver this website.
Cloudflare Web Analytics, which gives us anonymous statistics about visits to the site.
A certified electrician or Gas Safe registered engineer, if your job needs one. We only share what they need to do their part.
HMRC, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may store or process information outside the UK. Ask us if you'd like details.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't go ahead: up to 12 months, then deleted.
Customer records such as quotes, invoices and job details: for as long as HMRC requires us to keep business records, currently at least 5 years after the 31 January tax return deadline for the year they relate to.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or stop using it. You can also object to how we use it, or ask for it in a format you can take elsewhere. Email info@elirefurbishments.co.uk and we'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
